Association of Commercial Attorneys: revised scheme
The scheme has been revised in accordance with the provisions of the Law Reform (Miscellaneous Provisions) (Scotland) Act 1990. The Minister for Community Safety has directed that the Association of Commercial Attorneys bring this into force from 18 June 2019.

4.0 Membership Categories
4.1 Membership
4.1.1 The classes of membership shall be:-
(a) Member
(b) Fellow
4.2 (a) Member: A Member is an individual who has been granted a Practising Certificate or interim Practising Certificate by the Admissions Board to conduct Construction Litigation.
(b) Fellow: A Fellow is a Member who has held a Practising Certificate for not less than three years and who has, following an application to the Admissions Board, been granted the status of Fellow by the Admissions Board. A Fellow is of sufficient standing and experience to train and mentor Prospective Members to become Members of the Association.
