Asset Transfer Requests: Notification of Review Decision by Scottish Ministers

An application for review under Section 87(2) of the Community Empowerment (Scotland) Act 2015 was made in writing in accordance with Part 4 of The Asset Transfer Request (Review Procedure) (Scotland) Regulations 2016 from Ettrick & Yarrow Community Development Company (EYCDC), The Waterwheel Café, Philiphaugh, Selkirk, TD7 5LU.

Action: appeal concluded

The documents below relate to the review of the decision by the Scottish Ministers not to allow EYCDC to purchase 173 hectares of Gamescleuch Forest and the Ettrick Marshes under Part 5 of the Community Empowerment (Scotland) Act 2015. There is a link below to the initial decision made by the Scottish Ministers, and 7 attachments submitted by EYCDC in support of their request for review. There are also further links to the final decision made by Ministers on 30 October 2019, and also a copy of an interim letter issued to EYCDC on 20 September 2019 issued as part of this process - these can be found in the attachments below.
