An application for appeal under Section 88(2) of the Community Empowerment (Scotland) Act 2015 was made in writing in accordance with The Asset Transfer Request (Appeals) (Scotland) Regulations 2016 from Barra and Vatersay Community Ltd, Castlebay, Isle of Barra, Eilean Siar, HS9 5XD.

The documents below relate to the appeal of the decision made by Western Isles Council not to allow Barra and Vatersay Community Ltd (BVC) to purchase a plot of land opposite Castlebay Community School under Part 5 of the Community Empowerment (Scotland) Act 2015.
