The following additional information is being made available in this publication on 31/07/20:

EU citizens currently living in the UK will have to apply to the EU Settlement Scheme by 30 June 2021 if they want to keep living in the UK after this date.

The application to the UK Government’s EU Settlement Scheme is an online application and is available now.

The Home Office guidance on the Scheme, including who is eligible to apply and what applicants need to prove, is here: https://www.gov.uk/settled-status-eu-citizens-families

The Scottish Government has also produced some materials to support those applying to the EU Settlement Scheme, including a guide for employers here: https://www.gov.scot/publications/eu-citizens-staying-in-scotland-package-of-support/

Finally, under the Stay in Scotland campaign, the Scottish Government is part funding Citizens Advice Scotland to deliver an Advice and Support service for those applying to the EU Settlement Scheme. This includes a national Freephone helpline which is staffed by qualified advisers. You can receive information, advice and support by calling the helpline on 0800 916 9847.

The pdf and html have both been updated to reflect these changes.
