Information requested
Thank you for your letter regarding our seal license application. It is our intention to appeal the decision reached. We cannot complete our appeal in the current timeframe due to the need for additional information from MS-LOT. We therefore request all advice received by MS-LOT in making your final determination on our application, including, but not limited to, advice from NatureScot and Marine Scotland Science.

I enclose a copy of most of the information you requested.
While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance we are unable to provide some of the information you have requested because an exception under Regulation 11(2) (personal information of a third party) of the EIRs applies to that information. The reason why that exception applies is explained in the Annex to this letter.
