We are supporting the financial and business services industry so that it continues to grow and strengthen Scotland's economy.
We support the financial and business services industry by:
- engaging with industry through the Financial Services Advisory Board (FiSAB)
- providing business support through Scottish Enterprise
- helping financial services companies to explore overseas opportunities through Scottish Development International
Scotland is the most important UK financial centre outside London and the south-east, with a wide range of financial services that include global custody, asset servicing, banking, investment management, corporate finance, life assurance and pensions.
Business services is also an important sector, having grown in recent years to include a large and diverse range of professional services.
The financial and business services industry is a vital contributor to the overall success of the Scottish economy and has a large impact on economic growth.
