Employment Injury Assistance Steering Group

Overview

The group was established in June 2025 following the commitment to re-establishing a stakeholder advisory group to inform policy development for future delivery of Employment Injury Assistance. The Group held its first meeting on 3 June 2025.

The group will provide valuable input into ongoing work and consider overarching policy principles. The purpose of this group is to consider overarching policy principles and aims for Employment Injury Assistance and identify priorities for longer term reform.

The Group expects to publish its final report by mid-2026.
