Building safety: cross sector forum

Overview

This forum first met in May 2025 and provides an opportunity for stakeholders to discuss the latest information on matters relating to building maintenance and safety.

Members are drawn from across the public sector, representative organisations and professional bodies. It includes representation from relevant sectors with the responsibility for the management of issues of maintenance and safety in the buildings they own or operate. 

It reports to the Ministerial Working Group on Building and Fire Safety. Minutes of the group are published.
