Introduction
Total income from farming (TIFF) is the official measure of the profit gained by the agricultural industry in Scotland. It provides a breakdown of the value of farm production, support payments and costs.
Changes to publication schedule: Total Income from Farming Estimates: 2026
The publication of Total Income from Farming Estimates: 2026 will be delayed. This publication is usually released in April each year but we do not currently have capacity to take forward this publication to our usual schedule. Prioritisation has taken place to ensure that critical work meeting legislative data commitments will continue.
The publication date will be announced through the Official statistics: forthcoming publications calendar as soon as it is available. An update will also be provided on this page.
