Iain Wallace was appointed as Interim Director for Marine in September 2024.
Iain was born in Falkirk and studied Psychology at Edinburgh University. He has worked in a variety of roles within the public sector over the last 23 years.
Iain joined the Scottish Government on 2019 as Head of Strategy and Change in Marine Directorate and moved to a Deputy Director role in 2021. Iain took on the role as Interim Director for Marine in September 2024.
