The second Scottish Inshore Fisheries Conference was held on Friday 28 March 2014 at the Perth Concert Hall.
The conference built on the outcomes from the 2013 event, as well as addressing key issues such as Data Collection, Sustainable Management of Inshore Fisheries, Marine Planning & Marine Protected Areas, and Local Marketing initiatives.
The conference encouraged industry to become actively involved in fisheries management, while bringing together the whole Scottish inshore fisheries industry.
The Cabinet Secretary for Rural Affairs and the Environment, Richard Lochhead MSP, gave a keynote speech at the conference, discussing progress made over the last year as well as unveiling plans for 2014.
A full report of the conference is available to download below, alongside a four-page summary of the report. The online leaflet which provided information ahead of the conference is also available.
