Rural and environmental science and analytical services: privacy notices and general data protection regulation

General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) came into force on 25 May 2018.

Providing accessible information to individuals about the use of personal information (data) is a key element of GDPR. The Scottish Government does this through use of privacy notices. The privacy notice is a document that is used to set out the our policies on how we process the data that is within our control and would be expected to meet the requirements of GDPR. They are sent to all those who receive our surveys.
