Symptoms of the flu

Typically, the symptoms are a fever or temperature (over 38°c/100.4°F) and at least two of the following:

  • unusual tiredness
  • headache
  • runny nose
  • sore throat
  • shortness of breath or a cough
  • loss of appetite
  • aching muscles
  • diarrhoea and/or vomiting.
