Our programmes of work are designed to support NHS Boards and partner organisations to shift the balance of care from acute to primary care and the community. Moving care closer to home is crucial to achieving our 2020 Vision.
The QuEST Outpatients, Primary and Community Care team supports both continuous quality improvement and transformational change. We work with healthcare teams, patients, academia, other improvement teams and Scottish Government directorates to deliver programmes of work that meet people's needs and deliver a range of benefits.
Current workstreams include:
Elaine Mead (Chief Executive, NHS Highland) and Angiolina Foster (Director for Health and Social Care Integration, Scottish Government) are sponsors of our programmes of work.
The work builds on and helps to sustain work previously led by the Long Term Conditions Collaborative and the 18 Weeks Service Redesign and Transformation Programme.
