New Targets, New Challenges
The theme for 2010's UK Biodiversity Partnership was the new targets and challenges for biodiversity at UN and EU levels. The conference was an early opportunity for the UK biodiversity partnership to discuss our response to these targets. The targets have moved from a primary focus on preventing loss of species to an equal focus on ecosystem services bringing new opportunities and new challenges. The Conference took place on the 23 and 24 November 2010 at the Stirling Management Centre and was attended by around 150 delegates from across the UK
Day 1: Featured field trips to the surrounding area followed by afternoon plenary and workshop sessions.
Day 2: Was a combination of plenary and workshops sessions focusing on the UK's response to the new EU and UN targets and progress in delivery over the last year.
