Emergency Department Weekly Activity and Waiting Times in Scotland: Week ending 29/03/2015
This report contains weekly activity and waiting times statistics for the 32 Emergency Departments in Scotland which provide a 24 hour emergency medicine consultant led service.
Over the week ending 23:59 on Sunday the 29th March – There were 26,465 attendances to Scotland’s 32 Emergency Departments. The proportion of attendances to those 32 Emergency Departments that were seen and subsequently admitted, transferred or discharged within 4 hours was 91.3%. 213 patients (0.8%) spent more than 8 hours and 22 patients (0.1%) spent more than 12 hours in the 32 Emergency Departments.
