In 2013 the Scottish Government’s Cabinet Secretary for Health and Wellbeing announced an immediate review of the existing regulations on the control of entry to ensure they are fit for current and future purpose.
A consultation paper on the Control of Entry Arrangements and Dispensing GP Practices was published on 12 December 2013 and closed on 20 February 2014. The responses to the consultation will inform amendments to the associated regulations to be laid before the Scottish Parliament.
