The information is taken from Schools management information systems rather than a survey. It is processed and quality assured before being published every December.
The Healthy Living Survey
A survey of free school meal registration and school meal uptake as well as PE participation at a school level. Conducted in February, published in June.
The school estates survey
A annual survey of the condition and suitability of the school estate, collected in April each year. Information on rebuilds and refurbishments for the preceding financial year is also collected. The information is published in December
Attendance and absence and exclusion
Biennial (once every 2 years) collection of attendance and absence and exclusions over the course of a school year. This was last collected for 2012/13 and was published in December 2013. The next collection will be for 2014/15 and will be published in December 2015.
