The Stanojevic All Age 2009 equations, applicable to white (Caucasian) populations, were used to determine the predicted values for spirometry measurements in this chapter. ERS Global Lungs Initiative ethnic-specific reference equations that will also cover other ethnic groups were not available at the time of analysis, and therefore participants from non-white ethnic groups were excluded from the analysis shown here
