Data used to restrict household gatherings due to COVID-19: FOI release

Information request and response under the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002

Information requested

  • On September first Glasgow and other areas of Scotland had restrictions imposed upon them meaning that people from two different households are not allowed to meet indoors in private residences. The reason given for these restrictions by the government was that transmission of covid-19 cases was mainly happening inside people's homes.
  • Is it possible to get a copy of the data that shows this and a copy of any reports on the data used in the decision making process when deciding to implement the further restrictions?

Response

I enclose a digital copy of the information you requested.
