Data on homelessness applications by local authority for Oct-Dec 2019, Jan-March 2020 and April-June 2020.

Response

The Scottish Government regularly collects and publishes data on homeless applications from local authorities in Scotland. Our most recent publication, 'Homelessness in Scotland: 2019-20' was published on 27th August 2020, and contains data for applications up to 31st March 2020. We expect to publish official statistics for the period 1st April to 30th September 2020 in January 2021. 

The table below gives the quarterly number of applications by local authority for October to December 2019 and January to March 2020.

We do not currently have data on applications for April to June 2020 as part of our routine homelessness data collections. However the Scottish Government has been collecting data on homeless applications as part of its response to Coronavirus.
