Information requested
Any internal Scottish Government correspondence (including emails, letters, text/ Whatsapp messages, typed or hand-written notes, or briefing material) regarding the statutory entitlement to 1,140 hours of funded ELC. I would like this information from 10 June until 08 July.
Response
I have provided an overview of key points in decision making at Annex A, including links to publically accessible documents. Under section 25(1) of the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002 (FOISA), we do not have to give you information which is already reasonably accessible to you. If, however, you do not have internet access to obtain this information from the websites listed, then please contact me again and I will send you a paper copy.
I enclose some of the information you requested in Annex B.
While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance we are unable to provide some of the information you requested because exemptions under FOISA apply. The reasons why those exemptions apply are explained in Annex C.
