Response

While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance the costs of locating, retrieving and providing all of the funding information requested would exceed the upper cost limit of £600. The cost of searching all of our communications and records, reviewing them and identifying those which are relevant for your request would exceed the upper cost limit. Under section 12 of FOISA, public authorities are not required to comply with a request for information if the authority estimates that the cost of complying would exceed the upper cost limit, which is currently set at £600 by Regulations made under section 12.

Furthermore, in this instance, some of the information you requested is not held by the Scottish Government Specifically, we were unable to provide any information on the number of frontline services and other organisations that have received training from Scottish Women's Aid in the time period specified.

I have however provided information from the Equality Unit’s budget for the time period requested which is attached. Our webpage (undernoted) also sets out what documentation is required for each organisation to access each quarter’s finding.
