FOI reference: FOI/18/00924
Date received: 21 March 2018
Date responded: 13 April 2018

Information requested

You asked for "details of any reports to the Scottish Government of anti-semitism regarding Sandra White and a decision taken by the cross party group on Palestine to refuse admission to several members of the Jewish faith. Information should include any relevant correspondence (emails, typed or handwritten notes, letters, phone calls, minutes of meetings or otherwise)".

Response

1. I enclose a copy of the information requested regarding 'reports to the Scottish Government of anti-semitism regarding Sandra White'.

2. While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance the Scottish Government does not have the information you have requested regarding 'a decision taken by the cross party group on Palestine to refuse admission to several members of the Jewish faith'. However, you may wish to contact the cross party group who may be able to help you. The reasons why we don't have the information are explained below.

The Scottish Government does not have the information you have asked for because the Scottish Government is not responsible for the cross party group on Palestine. This is a formal notice under section 17(1) of FOISA that the Scottish Government does not have the information you have requested.
