Information requested

  1. Are non-government or Parliamentary email accounts used by (a) Ministers or (b) Special Advisers to communicate regarding government business?

  2. If so, please list the email addresses used.

Response

The Scottish Government does not have or own non-Government accounts. Ministers and their staff are advised that MSP email addresses are secure for transmission of SG data; and are advised that they should be aware of who has access to the account and should take appropriate steps to ensure the security of SG information.
