2. Any information we hold (or recorded information about decisions made) about reaching children who are home-educated, excluded or otherwise not in school to enable them to participate in the Cyber Discovery Programme.
Response
I enclose a copy of the information you requested.
We have no recorded information on reaching children who are home-educated, excluded or otherwise not in school to enable them to participate in the Cyber Discovery Programme.
The Cyber Discovery is open to children in or outside school and the providers (SANS) encourage parents to be involved as club leaders and our partners in Education Scotland, Skills Development Scotland and YoungScot will be promoting the programme to children in Scotland. At the start of each phase parents are provided with their own resource pack to help them better understand the programme, as some student my choose to work through Cyber Discovery programme on their own (at home).
