Applying the guidance

Considerations in applying the guidance

The practical guidance on implementing public health measures provides the basis for settings to reopen safely. However, these measures will change the way that providers deliver services – although restrictions have been eased, provision cannot return to normal. When planning the implementation of these measures, providers will have to consider how this will affect their operating model. This will be different from provider to provider, and from setting to setting, and a single guidance document could not cover the range of possible settings and delivery models across Scotland. Therefore, this guidance provides a framework of principles for considering the impact on provision in key areas.
