Business Insights and Conditions Survey (BICS) weighted Scotland estimates containing data to wave 30.
This is the 18th publication of weighted Scotland estimates using the Office for National Statistics’ (ONS’) Business Insights and Conditions Survey (BICS). The ONS’ BICS is a voluntary fortnightly business survey, which captures businesses’ responses on how their turnover, workforce, prices, trade and business resilience have been affected by current conditions, including the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic and the end of the EU transition period. This publication focuses on businesses’ responses from Wave 7 to Wave 30 of the survey. The estimates are for businesses with a presence in Scotland and that have 10 or more employees.
These are experimental statistics, which means that they are still in development but have been released to enable their use at an early stage. All results are provisional and subject to revision.
Please note that, for Wave 30, there are two excel workbooks – one in the usual format where, generally, data for each individual wave is shown on individual tabs and another in a new time series format. From Wave 31 onwards, we will be publishing on the new time series format only.
