Zero Emission Social Housing Taskforce

Overview

The Zero Emissions Social Housing Taskforce was formed in March 2021 and concluded its work in August 2021.

The Zero Emission Social Housing Taskforce (ZEST) was convened by the Minister for Local Government, Housing and Planning to consider and provide practical recommendations on what is required of the social housing sector to maximise the sector’s contribution to the Scottish Government’s ambitious climate change targets. Two sub-groups were  created to look at possible technical and funding solutions.

We have published a response to the Zero Emission Taskforce recommendation report.
