Address: Marine Scotland Science, Marine Laboratory, 375 Victoria Road, Aberdeen, AB11 9DB, UK
My main work consists of using GIS to discover how to represent data collected during surveys that were undertaken to investigate potential offshore renewable energy site locations. I also do a lot of visualisation methodologies to aid in the planning and site suitability of offshore developments.
I collaborate with other sections in the Marine Laboratory and also with colleagues in the Policy and Planning sections in Edinburgh and Glasgow. I am currently studying for a MSc in GIS at the University of Aberdeen, part-time over two years.
External Committees and Responsibilities
I am a member of the Scottish Government Resilience Room emergency response team and I am on watch at least one day per month.
