These Webpages ( http://www.scotland.gov.uk/Topics/marine/science/MSInteractive/) on the Scottish Government Website ( http://www.scotland.gov.uk/) are produced by Scottish Ministers acting through Marine Scotland, of Marine Laboratory, PO Box 101, 375 Victoria Road, Torry, Aberdeen AB11 9DB. The Webpages are intended as an information tool to enable marine renewable developers and other members of the public to download georeferenced data.

Cookies and Website Traffic Analysis

When users enter the Website their computers will automatically be issued with 'cookies'. Cookies are text files which are used to store some of the preferences of users moving around a website whenever users visit those websites.

The Website uses one cookie to store a list of the five most recently viewed pages, text size preferences and Website colour preferences. The cookie can be read by the Website that created it when the User visits the website site again.

This data will not be used to identify any User personally. Scottish Ministers will not measure and analyse usage of the Website. No log files are being kept.

Users have the opportunity to set their computers to accept all cookies, to notify them when a cookie is issued, or not to receive cookies at any time. By deleting the cookies or disabling future cookies, certain personalised services cannot then be provided to that User.
