Marine Licence Application Fees (1 April 2018 – 31 March 2019)

Note on Fees

Fees for Marine Licence applications are set on 1st April each year in accordance with Regulation 6 of the Marine Licensing (Fees) (Scotland) Regulations 2011 (as Amended) and are linked to the Consumer Prices Index for February of the previous financial year.

Table 1 includes all licensable marine activity except those specified in Tables 2 to 4. Please note this applies to application fees for marine licences for dredging activity with no associated sea disposal, deposit of moorings and wellboat discharges.

On 5th April 2013 a new fee structure for applications under The Electricity Act 1989 came into force. Application fees are in accordance with The Electricity (Applications for Consent) Amendment (Scotland) Regulations 2013.

Note on Fees

Application fees are in accordance with The Electricity(Offshore Generating Stations) (Safety Zones) (Application Procedures and Control of Access) Regulations 2007.

The application fee for the declaration of a safety zone is £2000.
