How to Apply for a Licence

Under the new seal licensing system, all fisheries and fish farms which require to manage seal predation will have to apply for an annual seal licence on one of the forms below.

In addition:

Licence applicants will be required to follow the Scottish Seal Management Code of Practice (updated September 2011) and should also be aware of the Seal Management Areas in Scotland.

The next annual licensing round will run from 01 October 2015 to 31 October 2015 for applications for the February 2016 to January 2017 licensing period.

Completed application forms and supporting information must be submitted to Marine Scotland no later than 31 October 2015
