Rural Priorities - Customer Care and Complaints

We see Rural Development Contracts as a partnership between the Scottish Government and our customers.

Working well together will help us to meet each other's expectations and ensure the Scotland Rural Development Programme delivers a positive experience for all.

We take our responsibilities in delivering the scheme very seriously, and are committed to listening to customers in helping shape the way that we deliver services.

In order to deliver the programme successfully we look to our customers to reflect our commitment to partnership and to adhere to some basic requirements and courtesies.

The following pages set out our commitments to you, as the customer. It defines the standards of service that we will offer and the part that you need to play.

Our Targets

In order to provide you with the best possible service, we have set targets for some of the main activities that we carry out. These targets allow us to measure our performance and focus our attention on any areas that we feel need improvement.

Complaints, Compliments and Comments

We always aim to be efficient and to deliver a high standard of customer service. If things go wrong, we will do our best to resolve matters to everyone's satisfaction.

If you have a comment to make or a suggestion that could help us to improve, please tell your local office or usual point of contact with RPID, SNH or FCS.
