Small Area Statistics

Statistics.gov.scot is the website for publishing data behind official statistics in Scotland. You can access data by theme, organisation or geography. You can also search for datasets, places or enter your postcode to find data about your local area. The data can be viewed as tables, maps and charts or downloaded in various formats.

The Scottish Index of Multiple Deprivation is the Scottish Government's tool for identifying small area concentrations of multiple deprivation.

Small Area Statistics - Flexible User Network

The Flexible User Network (FUN) has been created to allow the Scottish Government to engage with key users and stakeholders of local area statistics. The network will be made up of a 'core' group of users and data providers. As well as the core group, there will also be a larger correspondence group that we will consult with around open data technologies, geographic information systems (GIS) and bespoke user applications.
