User Information

Small Area Statistics - Flexible User Network

The Flexible User Network (FUN) has been created to allow the Office of the Chief Statistician to engage with key users and stakeholders of local area statistics. OCSP intends that the network will be made up of a 'core' group of users and data providers, which will meet around 3-4 times during the development of the new SNS website. As well as the core group, there will also be a larger correspondence group that OCSP will consult with around open data technologies, geographic information systems (GIS) and bespoke user applications.

Please get in touch with us on (0131) 244 0 442, or email neighbourhood.statistics if you would like to join, or need more information.

Scottish Neighbourhood Statistics - Advisory Board

The Scottish Neighbourhood Statistics Advisory Board advises and guides the Office of the Chief Statistician and Performance on the aims, objectives, priorities, methods and delivery of improvements to the SNS website.

This group is a short life group that will meet 3 times throughout 2013, and once in early 2014.  Papers will be published and circulated via the ScotStat Register prior to meetings, so that anyone with an interest can put forward their thoughts or concerns in advance of the meeting.
