Scottish House Condition Survey - Local Authority Analyses

The full set of SHCS Local Authority tables relating to the latest period 2014-2016 will be published on Tuesday 27th February 2018.  LA-level data on Fuel Poverty for 2014-2016 have been released earlier, on Tuesday 16th January, in light of the current consultation on a new 'Fuel Poverty Strategy for Scotland' which will close on 1st February 2018.  This is to allow stakeholders access to the latest available LA data on fuel poverty based on the current definition which can be taken account of in their responses as required.

The LA-level fuel poverty data covering the period 2013-2015 are also being published ahead of the consultation deadline in order to incorporate some minor revisions to previously published estimates. The headline fuel poverty rates for each authority in this period are unchanged.

Local Authority Report

These reports combine three years worth of data together to provide a series of tables which present estimates for key indicators important at local authority level.

Local Authority Analyses

We are providing these tables based on Local Authority requests received via our adhoc service. The rationale for this provision is based on the premise that what one authority requests will probably be required by others.

We will continue to expand these over time.
