"Work and Worklessness among Households in Scotland" was first published by the Scottish Government in October 2009.
The publication provided information on:
- The distribution of working age households by economic activity at national and local authority levels.
- The number of children living in workless households (i.e. where no working age adult is in work) across local authority areas.
- Differences in work and worklessness among households in Scotland and UK.
A user consultation seeking views on the proposal by the Scottish Government to discontinue this publication ran from 16th August 2010 to 13th September 2010.
A report summarising the findings from the consultation is now available.
