Labour Market Statistics User Day 2009
The Scottish Government hosted a Labour Market Statistics User Day on 20th March 2009. The purpose of the day was to provide colleagues with an overview of the statistics produced and disseminated by the Labour Market Statistics branch and to give colleagues the opportunity to discuss and provide feedback on their data needs in relation to the Labour Market topic.
In addition to the Labour Market Forum, the Scottish Government consults users and providers of the statistics which relate to Labour Market via the Scottish Economic Statistics Consultation Group (SESCG).
The Group covers the following National Statistics Themes (or parts of themes):
- The Economy
- Commerce, Energy and Industry
- Labour Market
- Local Government Finance
Openness about planning and prioritising is a key requirement of National Statistics and of our commitment to users and providers.
