Inpatient Experience Survey

The Inpatient Experience Survey is a postal survey with the aim of establishing the experience of a sample of adults who had a recent overnight hospital stay.

Introduction

The survey covers six specific areas of inpatient experience: admission to hospital; the hospital and ward; care and treatment; hospital staff; arrangements for leaving hospital; and care and support services after leaving hospital. The survey aims to help us understand more about the quality of services, and what needs to be improved.

The survey is currently on hold due to COVID-19 pressures
