Main Findings

The Scottish economy grew by 0.8% during the first quarter of 2017.

The Services sector grew by 0.3% and the Production sector by 3.1%. The Construction sector contracted by 0.7%.

On an annual basis, comparing the latest quarter (2017 Q1) with the same quarter of the previous year (2016 Q1), Scottish GDP grew by 0.7%.
