Main Findings

Scottish GDP grew by 0.2% during the third quarter of 2016.

Output in the Services sector grew by 0.4%, the Production sector contracted by 0.1%, and the Construction sector contracted by 1.4%.

On an annual basis, comparing the latest quarter (2016 Q2) with the same quarter of the previous year (2015 Q2), Scottish GDP grew by 0.7%.
