Main Findings

The output of the Scottish economy remained flat during the first quarter of 2016.

Output in the Services sector grew by 0.4%, the Production sector contracted by 1.2%, and the Construction sector contracted by 1.5%.

On an annual basis, comparing the latest quarter (2016 Q1) with the same quarter of the previous year (2015 Q1), Scottish GDP grew by 0.6%.
