Main Findings

Scottish Gross Domestic Product (GDP), chained volume measure, grew by 0.2% during the fourth quarter of 2015.

Output in the Services sector grew by 0.3%, the Production sector contracted by 0.1%, and the Construction sector grew by 0.1%.

On an annual basis, comparing the latest quarter (2015 Q4) with the same quarter of the previous year (2014 Q4), Scottish GDP grew by 0.9%.

Calendar year growth for 2015, i.e. comparison of the four quarters of 2015 with the four quarters of 2014, was 1.9%.
