Main Findings

Scottish Gross Domestic Product (GDP) in constant basic prices grew by 0.9% during the second quarter of 2014.

Output in the Services sector grew by 0.9%. Total output in the Production sector grew by 0.3%. Output in the Construction sector expanded by 3.6%.

On an annual basis, comparing the latest quarter (2014 Q2) with the same quarter in the previous year (2013 Q2), GDP grew 2.6%.
