The Reconviction Rates in Scotland publication presents statistics on court reconvictions in Scotland on an annual basis. Reconvictions are counted as a court conviction in a one year follow-up period, either after release from a custodial sentence, or from the sentence date of a non-custodial sentence. The publication also includes statistics on the number of persons that receive another non-court disposal within a year of receiving a non-court disposal from either the police or Crown Office and Procurator Fiscal Service (COPFS).
To ensure that the Reconvictions Bulletin continues to meet the needs of its users, the Scottish Government sent out an online survey to its users at the end of October 2014, which closed at the end of November 2014. The results of the survey are here.
