This was the last Official Statistics publication by the Scottish Government on the number of Firearm and Shot Gun Certificates in Scotland. Police Scotland have now taken responsibility for reporting of these statistics. They do this through a quarterly management information report on Firearm Certificates, which can be accessed from their main performance page: http://www.scotland.police.uk/about-us/our-performance/
Users can also direct any new queries for statistical information on Firearm Certificates to Police Scotland via their contact point at the following link, where requests will get forwarded to the analytical team that produces the quarterly report: http://www.scotland.police.uk/contact-us/contact-us-form
