LAC Data Strategy 2015

The Looked After Children Data Strategy 2015 sets out the strategic direction for developing data on looked after children over the next five years. It focuses on ensuring data quality and providing the evidence to realise our policy ambitions set out in Getting It Right for Looked After Children: Early Engagement, Early Permanence and Improving the Quality of Care. This data strategy identifies the short and longer term actions that will be taken by the Scottish Government’s Children and Families Statistics team and highlights the remaining evidence gaps that could be addressed by academic, public sector or other analysts.
