Education Outcomes for Looked After Children, 2013-14

  • 40 per cent of looked after school leavers have one or more qualification at SCQF level 5 - up from 28 per cent in 2011/12.
  • 74 per cent of looked after school leavers have one or more qualification at SCQF level 4 - up from 67 per cent in 2011/12.
  • 73 per cent of looked after school leavers were in a positive destination nine months after leaving school - up from 67% in 2011/12.
