The simplest way to get results on the Scottish Household Survey is to examine the reports and articles that have already been published. These reports generally contain information on Scotland at a national level every quartyer, and results from all Local Authorities bi-annually.
Please refer to the Publications page for further information on the Annual Reports and accompanying technical reports (questionnaire, methodology and fieldwork outcomes). The most recent Annual Report has been overhauled significantly from previous versions, and is now accompanied by a number of Web Tables which may be of interest.
The Quarterly results of the Scottish Household Survey are released through the Publication Summary - Quarterly pages, providing information on Communities, Transport, Housing, and Recyling.
An "Interactive Tables" facility containing SHS data for national and Local Authority level data for 1999/2000, 2001/2002 and 2003/2004 is available. We have also published some 2005/2006 analysis separately, which we have been unable to integrate into our Interactive Tables functionality yet.
This feature is currently being reviewed to determine its future use - if you have any comments then please Contact us and let us know your thoughts.
The SPSS syntax used to construct these tables is also available for information.

We routinely publish "web tables" to support our series of publications. In particular, this includes more in-depth analysis of the statistics provided in our Annual Report, and trends supporting the Quarterly Release.
